Continue to Aljustrel village to visit the late 19th century family houses of the three shepherd children, Lucia, Francisco and Jacinta. We also visit the apparition sites of the Angel of Peace in 1916, the 4th apparition site of Our Lady in August 1917 at Valinhos, and the Parish Church where the shepherd children were baptized.

  My sisters and I had a full day tour with Nelson on February 19, 2024. It was the absolute best day we had while in Portugal! We were picked up in a comfortable van in Lisbon at 8 a.m. We started with a tour of the medievil town of Obidos, spent a lovely couple of hours and had lunch by the sea in beautiful Nazare and ended the day in complete awe where Our Lady appeared in Fatima.  It was all spectacular!  Nelson is a very knowledgeable and highly experienced tour guide but more importantly for us, he was accommodating, flexible and so very kind and gracious. I highly recommend this tour - and if you are lucky enough, this amazingly lovely tour guide - for your full day tour while in Portugal. We would very much like to do this trip again and next time spend more time in Fatima.   When we do, we will surely do it with Fatima Experience again!

  The Fatima Tour was beyond all of my expectations.   Nelson is extremely knowledgable and friendly. His English is excellent. We did a private 2-person tour that went through all of the important places in Fatima, and Nelson gave us all of the background info—so interesting. Not your typical tour—an in depth view of the lives of the shepherd children, their families and the history of Fatima. Pick up at Lisbon hotel and asked if he would drop off at train station to Porto made our day so much easier. Great lunch with our new friend! Highly recommend!

Our journey to Fatima and back to Lisbon was smooth and comfortable, the lunch he recommended was absolutely delicious, and the expert knowledge he shared was both insightful and enlightening. Sanctuary of Fatima

Presentation and Guided tour of the Sanctuary. Visit the Chapel of Apparitions, where Our Lady appeared to the shepherd children. See the tombs of St.Francisco, St.Jacinta and Sister Lucia inside the Our Lady of the Rosary Basilica and be amazed by the simple and modern Most Holy Trinity Basilica, with a seating capacity of almost 9000.

Aljustrel village

This village is where the shepherd children Lucia, Francisco and Jacinta were born and where you will explore the family houses from the late 19th century.

Loca and Poço

The Angel of Peace appeared three times to the shepherd children in 1916, with a message of prayer and sacrifice. Learn about the importance of these apparitions, as we visit the apparition sites called “Loca do Cabeço and Poço do Arneiro“.
