This was one of the highlights of our trip. We had been wanting to visit Our Lady of Fatima for a while. We were blessed to have met with Nelson Rodrigues for what was an incredible experience. We were treated to a very private and interactive tour of the very special places in and around Fatima. We knew we were having a special experience because of Nelson’s depth of knowledge and on several occasions we were in places where it was just Nelson and us. Discussing very special events. Wow - Nelson provided not only the best personalized experience for our family of 8 for the day in Fatima, Nazare, and Obidos, but his intimate knowledge of Fatima enriched our understanding of all we saw. Nelson knows so much about his hometown, Fatima. We would not have known what we were looking at without his in depth explanations of the symbolism throughout Fatima. As Catholics, our family truly felt a deeper connection to our faith through this excellent private tour of Fatima. My family of 4 had a wonderful private (English) afternoon tour with Nelson who was very knowledgeable in the history of Fatima, and especially helpful in checking the mass and rosary time for us to attend. We had a wonderful day with Nelson who was very  knowledgeable and informative and imparted so many facts for Fatima and our two other destinations at Nazare and Obidos. My sisters and I had a full day tour with Nelson on February 19, 2024. It was the absolute best day we had while in Portugal! We were picked up in a comfortable van in Lisbon at 8 a.m. We started with a tour of the medievil town of Obidos, spent a lovely couple of hours and had lunch by the sea in beautiful Nazare and ended the day in complete awe where Our Lady appeared in Fatima.  It was all spectacular!  Nelson is a very knowledgeable and highly experienced tour guide but more importantly for us, he was accommodating, flexible and so very kind and gracious. I highly recommend this tour - and if you are lucky enough, this amazingly lovely tour guide - for your full day tour while in Portugal. The Fatima Tour was beyond all of my expectations.   Nelson is extremely knowledgable and friendly. His English is excellent. We did a private 2-person tour that went through all of the important places in Fatima, and Nelson gave us all of the background info—so interesting. Not your typical tour—an in depth view of the lives of the shepherd children, their families and the history of Fatima. Pick up at Lisbon hotel and asked if he would drop off at train station to Porto made our day so much easier. Great lunch with our new friend! Highly recommend!
