Wow! Still in awe 3 days later. We toured Fatima with Nelson. Absolutely breathtaking. Nelson truly has a gift from God, to share the message of Fatima with the world. We were looking for an experience that was more than a “tour” but also was not a pilgrimage. This was exactly that. We ended up calling it “A Pilgrimage in a Day”! I don’t want to give too much away, so you have a special experience. Nelson will build up the anticipation until you finally see the main apparition site. Whatever you do- please, please  follow his suggested itinerary. He has everything mapped out for a reason- I promise!

A note about Nelson- he is extremely professional as this is his livelihood. He “reads the room” well and will adjust depending on the situation. He has much passion for this tour, but is not forceful in his beliefs. He and I shared the same faith, but this tour is very suitable for those of all religions. My boyfriend is a history buff and Nelson had endless facts to share for 8 hours.

We had an incredible tour with Nelson. It was my wife’s birthday and since we were in the area it was a perfect tour for my daughter, wife and me. Nelson’s attention to detail, professional and kind demeanor made it a very memorable day. His wealth of knowledge made us feel like we were in a time capsule. It greatly added to what we knew of the story of Fatima and left us so pleased that we booked with him. Nelson is everything you could ask for in a guide: knowledgeable, punctual, considerate,  flexible and concerned about meeting the needs of his clients. He obviously loves Fatima and that shines through in his tour. He transports you not only in his comfortable van, but transports you back to 1917 as you walk through the town and church of the visionaries and to the sites of the apparitions. Nelson was fabulous!! We had two kids ages 11 and 12 with us and boys and they even loved the tour! It was super special! Nelson doesn’t miss a thing. Our tour was hosted by Nelson and it was outstanding.   We enjoyed his local knowledge, historical and personal history connected to Fatima, and his passion for the subject of Our Lady of Fatima and all events surrounding her appearances.  Nelson went above and beyond for our family of 10 people to make us comfortable, including driving us from city to city as needed. Life changing experience to treasure forever.   I don’t believe in bucket lists ,  but if I did this was number 1.    I am so happy I decided to take the private tour .   Nelson is a Fatima treasure.   Don’t think about another tour,  this is the one that is the best. Our experience with Nelson was nothing short of incredible! Absolutely exceeded our expectations- Nelson is completely fluent with everything about Portugal and Fatima. He is completely professional yet personable and welcoming. Our experience at Fatima would not have been the same without Nelson. He was thorough with his tour and also made a wonderful lunch recommendation for us all. We also stopped at Nazare on our way back and he was able to accomodate our request to do so. We had a private Fatima Experience tour for 4 people with Nelson. It was excellent. He is very personable and extremely knowledgeable about Fatima, the religious significance, the history of the area, and the culture. It was thoroughly enlightening and enjoyable. My wife and I recently did a private 4 hour tour with Nelson, and it was a wonderful experience.

Nelson was very eloquent and thorough from start to finish, allowing us to walk in the footsteps of the three children and gain important context regarding the Fátima story. Without having Nelson as a private guide, we would not have had the same experience that we had during our visit - we were very lucky to have him, and would absolutely recommend him to anyone wanting to get more out of a visit to Fátima.
