  • This tour only operates from April to October.
  • Does not operate on the following days: On Thursdays and May 12/13 or October 12/13.
  • It normally cools down in the evening, so bring something warm to wear at night.
  • You will have free time for a dinner break after the tour and before the Rosary + Candlelight procession
  • Please note, the Sanctuary administration is responsible for coordinating the procession, and may not take place if the weather conditions don’t allow it to happen.

Sanctuary of Fatima

Presentation and Guided tour of the Sanctuary. Visit the Chapel of Apparitions, where Our Lady appeared to the shepherd children. See the tombs of St.Francisco, St.Jacinta and Sister Lucia inside the Our Lady of the Rosary Basilica and be amazed by the simple and modern Most Holy Trinity Basilica, with a seating capacity of almost 9000.

Aljustrel village

This village is where the shepherd children Lucia, Francisco and Jacinta were born and where you will explore the family houses from the late 19th century.

The Candlelight procession

The International Rosary starts at 9:30 pm and is followed by the Candlelight procession, starting approximately at 10:15pm, ending at approximately 10:45pm. Return to Lisbon.
